who is sanjay?
Sanjay Patel is a PIXAR artist, and author of Ramayana: Divine Loophole, a book much loved by 2G since 2014!
He also illustrated The Big Poster Book of Hindu Deities, perhaps the greatest art inspiration 2G has ever known!
Sanjay also wrote and directed Sanjay’s Super Team, a brilliant, 7-minute short from Pixar. Sanjay’s Super Team is yet another 2G hit!
In addition to the art work below, 2G also illustrated their own three-act version of the Ramayana — based on Sanjay’s telling of the story — which you can find here: Ramayana Act 1 • Act 2 • Act 3.
Unlike previous 2G classes, 2G 2019-2020 executed their Sanjay-Patel-inspired art in COVID-19 isolation, using art materials they had at home.
