One of our most popular Tree House News exercises is our NatGeo issues.
Students look through a variety of NatGeo stories, select one — usually inspired by a great photography — then write a non-fiction or fiction story.
This week’s THN NatGeo issue was inspired by having no less than three 2G Mentors on Friday!
Isla, Leyla and Belle each rotated through three “stations” — story selection, drawing, rough draft writing — and helped with “making it [the rough draft] perfect.”
Needless to say, 2G — which, of late, has been pestering us about “When are the mentors coming back?” — loved, loved, loved having Belle, Isla and Leyla.
2G hope they’ll be returning Monday! : )
